Licence to operate a forklift truck

National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work -The National Standard requires all high-risk work licence training and assessment to be conducted under the supervision of an RTO, with the licence assessment component conducted by a Workcover accredited assessor.

Kells Training Centre offer training for those who require both theoretical and practical instruction to obtain their license.  Students are required to be trained to a level suitable to achieve all elements necessary of the assessment instrument.

A successful Formative Assessment must take place before the Workcover Summative Assessment can be done. If a Formative Assessment is unsuccessful more training will be required to progress through to the Summative Assessment

Training Cost & Assessment Cost$600.00
  • 100 points of ID MUST be produced Evidence of Identity Guidelines
  • Applicants are to be 18 years or over

Terms and Conditions for Forklift Training/Assessment

  • If the applicant cannot supply the appropriate proof of ID No assessment will take place and the nominated assessors fee will still be applicable.
  • When training on location we expect all participants to be excluded from the workforce to concentrate on the training, we also need machinery to be set aside for the exclusive use of the training/assessment.
  • The agreed purchase price will be paid regardless of any student Absenteeism
