DANGEROUS GOODS LICENCE

$453 per person (not including EPA fees)

Kells Training Centre offer Training in the Nationally Accredited unit of competency TLILIC0001 Licence to transport dangerous goods by road[based on the 7th edition of the Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail (ADG 7)]

DANGEROUS GOODS ON SITE AWARENESS TRAINING

$1600 for 20 participants (no minimum)

This course will train employees in Dangerous Goods Awareness, for compliance with Appendix D8 in the 7th edition of the Australian Dangerous Goods Code.  This certificate course does NOT authorise the holder to drive a vehicle carrying Dangerous Goods. It also does NOT authorise the competent authority to issue the holder with a Dangerous Goods Licence.

DANGEROUS GOODS AWARENESS TRAINING

$300 per person

Ideal for store persons, administration staff warehouse staff. This course gives an introduction to hazardous/dangerous goods for handlers of dangerous goods.

SAFE LOAD PROGRAM

$385

The SLP load training and identification program is designed to provide industry drivers, terminal operators and trainers with the knowledge and skill to safely enter a fuel terminal or fuel depot for the purpose of loading a bulk fuel tanker.

OH&S; TRANSPORT INDUSTRY CARD (BLUE CARD)

$285 per person

“Blue Card” was developed in response to the need for improved safety performance in the transport industry. It is the safety awareness program aligned to the Transport Industry National Competency Standard TLIF1001 Follow work health and safety procedures. On successfully completing assessment, you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL/CHEMICAL SPILL

$1600 for 15 participants (no minimum)

This training course introduces the skills and knowledge required to monitor plant and equipment in an environmentally sustainable manner. It includes minimising the effects of pollution during operations and monitoring of plant and equipment, transporting and handling environmentally hazardous materials safely and in accordance with environmental protection regulations and guidelines.

FATIGUE MANAGEMENT

$285 per person

BFM – This unit involves the skills and knowledge required for heavy vehicle drivers to manage fatigue and to work safely within the Transport and Logistics industry. Schedulers – This unit involves the skills and knowledge required for road transport schedulers or supervisors/managers to administer a fatigue risk management system within the Transport and Logistics industry.

Forklift license

$600 per person

National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work -The National Standard requires all high-risk work licence training and assessment to be conducted under the supervision of an RTO, with the licence assessment component conducted by a Workcover accredited assessor. Kells Training Centre offer training for those who require both theoretical and practical instruction to obtain their license.

LOAD RESTRAINT

$1600 for 20 participants (no minimum)

This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to load and unload goods and cargo in accordance with relevant state/territory roads and traffic authority regulations/permit requirements. It includes loading and unloading goods and cargo, securing and protecting a load and completing all required documentation.

forklift upskill

$200 per person

This course covers the requirements for refreshing, updating and reassessing forklift operator’s knowledge and skill. Over time, forklift operators may become complacent, forget rules or learn bad habits. Refresher training can help an employer to overcome these issues and demonstrate their Duty of Care under the WHS Act. Successfully completing this course will allow you to refresh your knowledge and skill whilst also being updated in current industry practices.

Chain of responsibility (COR)

$300 per person

National uniformity in the Regulation of Road Transport including Road Safety, Transport Efficiency have expanded the responsibilities of many entities in the transport chain in relation to road safety and container weight declarations. These reforms have introduced the concept of Chain of Responsibility the notion that all parties in the road transport supply chain have obligations to improve safety and prevent breaches from occurring.

Load and unload goods/ cargo

$285 per person

This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to load and unload goods and cargo in accordance with relevant state/territory roads and traffic authority regulations/permit requirements. It includes loading and unloading goods and cargo, securing and protecting a load and completing all required documentation. Work is performed under general supervision within a team environment.
